Terms of service
These terms apply to every order you place on glintpaw.com. Please read them before ordering. They don't take away any rights you have as a consumer under the law of the EU or your country of residence.
1. Who we are
Glintpaw is a trading name of Automaize Solutions Ltd, a company registered in Cyprus.
Automaize Solutions Ltd (trading as Glintpaw). For order help, email care@glintpaw.com. Our registered business details are in the Legal Notice.
2. Using our website
You agree to use this website lawfully and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation or try to access it in unauthorised ways. We may update the site, our products and these terms from time to time. The terms in force when you place your order apply to that order.
3. Orders and your contract with us
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy. We'll send an email acknowledging your order; the contract between us is formed when we confirm your order or dispatch it. We may decline an order, for example if a product is unavailable, a price was clearly wrong, or the personalisation content breaks section 5. If we decline an order you've paid for, we'll refund you in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in euros (EUR) and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order, through the payment methods offered at checkout.
5. Personalisation and your photos
Many of our products are made from photos and text you give us. By uploading a photo or entering text, you confirm that:
- you own the rights to the photos you upload, or have permission from the owner to use them for your order;
- if other people appear in your photo, you are entitled to share it with us for your order; and
- your content is not unlawful, offensive, or in breach of anyone else's rights.
You give us permission to use your photos and text only as needed to make, check and deliver your order and to handle any questions about it. We don't use your photos in our marketing without asking you first. We may refuse to produce content that we reasonably believe breaks this section.
Photo preparation and enhancement for print. For some products we remove the background around your pet automatically, with the help of an AI service. We cut out your own photo and do not redraw your pet, but very fine fur at the edges may be softened slightly. If your photo is below the minimum size for the product you chose, we explain the specific risk of a softer print or small changes in fine detail or colour at upload and ask you to confirm it separately. After you order, we use an AI service to create a larger, enhanced version for printing, and an automatic check compares it with your original. You won't see this version before printing. If no enhanced version passes the check, we print your original photo, enlarged with a standard method without AI and lightly sharpened. Your statutory rights remain if the finished item does not conform to the contract, including if your pet no longer resembles your photo or the print has a production fault. How we handle your photos is explained in our Privacy policy.
Please check your personalisation details and any proof carefully. We make your item to the details and proof you approve. If your photo is below the minimum size, we print the enhanced version described above or, if no enhanced version passes our check, your original photo enlarged without AI. Engraved portraits are an artistic interpretation of your photo, so small differences in detail compared with the original photo are expected. Material, printing method and screen settings also affect how colours look on the finished product.
6. Delivery
Production and delivery times, shipping costs and the countries we ship to are set out in our Shipping policy. Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to you.
7. Cancellations, returns and the right of withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised for you (Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU). This does not affect your rights if an item is defective or does not conform to the contract. Non-personalised items can be returned within 14 days. The full details, including how to change personalisation details after ordering, are in our Refund policy.
8. Legal guarantee
You have a 2-year legal guarantee for goods that are faulty or not as described. If something is wrong, we'll repair, remake or refund as the law requires. See our Refund policy for how to report a problem.
9. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for business losses. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where the law does not allow it, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your statutory consumer rights.
10. Intellectual property
The Glintpaw name, logo, website content and designs belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without our permission. Your photos remain yours.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy policy.
12. Events outside our control
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If this happens, we'll tell you and do what we reasonably can to limit the effect. If the delay is significant, you may cancel and receive a refund for anything you have paid for but not received.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you still keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the courts of Cyprus or of your country of residence. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at care@glintpaw.com and we'll do our best to resolve it.
14. General
If any part of these terms is found to be invalid, the rest remains in force. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
